Small-cell suppression

Small-cell suppression: Small-cell suppression is DDSIntel’s rule of not publishing a share for any county with fewer than 10 practice locations, because a single practice could be identified from it.

Small-cell suppression is DDSIntel’s rule of not publishing a share for any county with fewer than 10 practice locations, because a single practice could be identified from it.

The rule applies to every county-level share. In a small county, even a percentage can reveal one owner’s situation. The Dental Transition Index goes further and is published only for regions and states.
