A corporate signal is a dental transition signal drawn from state corporate filings: new entities at an existing address, officer and registered-agent changes, and annual reports.
A corporate change at an existing location is often the first public trace of a deal. Where state law limits non-dentist ownership, DSO arrangements may run through management agreements that are not filed publicly, so corporate records undercount affiliation.
