Terms of use
The rules for using the public site, citing our research and, for members, using practice-level data.
Effective . Last updated .
Who these terms are with
These terms are between you and The DDS Company, a Wyoming limited liability company that operates DDSIntel ("DDSIntel", "we", "us"), with its address at 800 North King Street, Suite 304 #2111, Wilmington, DE 19801. By using ddsintel.com you agree to them. Member data is also governed by each member's signed agreement; where the two differ, the signed agreement controls.
Public site
The reports, indices, county pages and methodology are free to read. Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others; the aggregate CSVs are provided so you don't need to.
Citing and reuse
You may quote figures and reproduce public charts with the credit "Source: DDSIntel" and the data-as-of date. Do not alter values, remove source lines, or present our figures as your own research. Figures we reprint from public agencies should also credit that agency. See reusing charts.
Accuracy
We compile from public records and licensed data, which can be incomplete or late. Figures are statistics, not statements about any individual practice, and are not legal, financial, valuation or investment advice. We correct errors in the open; see corrections.
Member data
- Practice-level data is licensed to the member firm for its own business use and may not be resold or published.
- Members may not use DDSIntel data to contact patients, to market to patients, or to make decisions about a person's eligibility for credit, employment or insurance unless their agreement and applicable law expressly permit it.
- Members must respect an owner's chosen audience, region and time window for consented signals, and must stop contact when an owner asks.
- Observed signals describe public-record events. Members must not tell a practice owner, or anyone else, that the owner intends to sell on the basis of an observed signal.
Not a consumer report
DDSIntel is not a consumer reporting agency and DDSIntel reports are not consumer reports as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Do not use DDSIntel data as a factor in establishing eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or for any other purpose covered by the FCRA.
Owner accounts
Only a dentist licensed at a practice, or a person that dentist authorizes, may claim it. Corrections you submit must be accurate to your knowledge. You can close your account or turn off "open to conversations" at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of DDSIntel will be heard exclusively in the state and federal courts in Laramie County, Wyoming, and you and DDSIntel consent to that jurisdiction.
